Auracast is a next-generation Bluetooth technology that lets one audio source broadcast to an unlimited number of receivers simultaneously. It enables wireless audio to an indefinite set of speakers with no traditional network or wiring—from personal listening in museums and places of worship to ad hoc surround sound in homes, venues, and commercial spaces.

Yes. splitR™ works with virtually any speaker system: home stereo, car audio, portable Bluetooth speakers, and legacy wired setups via 3.5mm aux or RCA. connectR™ runs on iOS and Android and works with major streaming services. You can also chain existing wired installations into an Auracast network with splitR™ without replacing your current gear.

Standard Bluetooth connects one-to-one. splitR™ uses Auracast and LE Audio over BLE for one-to-many: you can stream to multiple speakers or headphones at once, or join a broadcast in progress. It can originate Auracast broadcasts, receive them, or bridge between wired and wireless audio—at home, in the gym, or in public venues.

splitR™ works with virtually any speaker system: home stereo, car audio, portable Bluetooth speakers, and legacy wired speakers. It supports 3.5mm aux and RCA. A key use case is extending existing wired systems so they can join an Auracast network and run in parallel with wireless speakers—no need to replace what you already have.

splitR+™ is our next-generation hub. Like splitR™, it transmits and receives Auracast. Beyond that, it adds home hub integrations across major ecosystems—smart assistants, streaming services, and physical ports for high-end audio. splitR+™ can act as the control and routing hub for an entire property (residential or commercial) while still participating natively in Auracast networks.

Yes. connectR™ can be used without splitR™ to access cross-platform music services. We recommend splitR™ to get the most out of connectR™—including device configuration and playback across the ecosystem.

Many phones and laptops do not yet support Auracast natively, even with Bluetooth 5.2+. splitR™ lets you broadcast or receive Auracast audio from any source—including devices that don’t support Auracast on their own. Plug splitR™ in, and your existing gear joins the future of wireless audio.

splitR™ has a range of up to 90 feet (30 meters) in optimal conditions; actual range may vary with obstacles and interference. On a single charge you get up to 12 hours of continuous transmission or 16 hours of reception. Battery life depends on usage. The device recharges via USB-C.

Connect splitR™ to your speaker with the right cable, download the connectR™ app, and follow the in-app pairing steps. Setup typically takes under five minutes.

connectR™ can work with splitR™ to create audio broadcasts and mesh your equipment even while offline. Accessing third-party streaming services and playback will require network availability.

Yes. connectR™ can be used without splitR™ to access cross-platform music services. We recommend splitR™ to fully use connectR™ for device configuration and playback across the ecosystem.

The number of locations depends on your plan. Essential+ allows 1 location, Standard+ allows 1 location with expansion options, and Premium+ includes 3 locations with unlimited expansion capabilities.

Zones are specific areas within your location where you can create customized audio environments. connectR PRO™ allows you to create zone-specific environments for personalized audio experiences.

Essential+ includes 1 daily broadcast per location, Standard+ includes 5 daily broadcasts per location, and Premium+ offers unlimited daily broadcasts across all your locations.

Installation is included with Premium+ plans. For Essential+ and Standard+ plans, installation is available at additional cost with our professional setup services.

Yes. splitR™ can mesh your equipment and create Auracast broadcasts without internet. Firmware updates and connectR™ streaming features require network connectivity.

splitR™ provides up to 12 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Battery life may vary based on usage patterns and connected devices. The device includes a USB-C charging port for convenient recharging.

Firmware updates are delivered automatically through the connectR™ app when your device is connected to the internet. You'll receive notifications when updates are available, and the process is completely automated.

First, ensure your splitR™ is charged and within range. Try restarting both your phone and the splitR™ device. If issues persist, reset the splitR™ by holding the power button for 10 seconds, then re-pair through the connectR™ app.
